Everything is back to normal…..

The madness has quieted a bit and I am relatively back to normal. I found some much needed hook time last night and I am anxious to get a few more rows done on the dance shrug tonight as well.
I am resisting the urge to over-schedule my kiddos this summer. The plan is to read and relax as much as possible. There will still be swim team, dance and piano lessons but the pace will be much sl…..ow……er. Hopefully, this will translate into more crocheting for mom.

Resist the urge! 1. Kids today are overscheduled (did we do much when we were kids?) 2. YOU deserve a slower pace!

I couldn’t agree more about kids being overscheduled. I am certainly guilty of that myself.
It’s going to be a wonderful summer. I checked out a bunch of colonial history books for the kids yesterday so that they can get ready for our summer vacation to the “Historic Triangle”…..I am so happy that my kids consider a trip to the library as a special treat! At least, I did something right! “Can we really borrow all of these books, mom?!?” The excitement in their voices was priceless.
