Field Trip!

The kids and I took a mini-field trip to Old Towne Alexandria today. We were actually running errands when I ran, smack dab, into a wonderful little yarn oasis – Fibre Space. I gotta say….I was very impressed. The location is phenomenal. We did have to circle around to find a parking spot, but we were finally successful on the 2nd attempt. The store clerk was a very friendly CROCHETER (need I say more!?!) and gave me the “grand” tour. There was a wide variety of yarns in some yummy colors. I fell in love with Neighborhood Fiber Co.‘s yarns, which were locally grown but have since been relocated to Ohio, according to their website site. Not as environmentally friendly as I had hoped but I am still putting it on my “wish list” because, to be honest, the colors are magnificent.
